An Insight Into Using a Credit Repair Manual
A credit repair manual is just a guide that will show you the steps to take in order to achieve the desired results you are looking for on your credit report. Whichever way you look at the term they both mean the same thing. Either manually repair you credit reports by yourself, or a manual as in a credit repair guide. Here I am focusing on the latter.
When using any type of credit repair manual it is important that have an understanding what it is you are doing. It is not always as easy as it seems when you start out with the process. It is all too easy for us to be sold to from shiny looking web pages that are selling what they claim to be the next major break through in the credit repair industry. Then the thing arrives and it is full of technical jargon that you don’t understand. If this is the case I would suggest in getting the thing returned for your money back.
A good credit repair manual should walk you through the entire process, as if the publisher is sitting right next to you going through the process one step at a time. It should explain what you are looking at on your credit report which will help you identify the areas that you can target when getting to the dispute letter part of the process.
A lot of programs sell to people on the concept that they will give them dynamite dispute letter samples that are guaranteed to get negative entries deleted. The simple truth to this element is that there is no such thing as a magic letter that gets these results. A dispute letter can be as easy as ” I don’t think this entry is mine, please verify the information or have the entry deleted, Thanks in advance”. Obviously not as basic as that but along they lines. It will need to contain your contact details, the entry in which you want investigated and always date it and post with registered mail and keep a copy.
It doesn’t matter whether you put a simple letter in that you wrote yourself or hired the best letter writer in the word to do this task. Both will have the same results. An investigation into the matter which will need to be responded to within 30 days of the CRA (credit reference agency) receiving your request, then hopefully have the entry deleted in order for it to positively impact on your credit score.
